In the artistic realm, I specialize in drawing, engraving, and printmaking, with a particular focus on exploring the relationship between the city and its inhabitants.
My preference for two-dimensional work on paper stems from the medium's ability to allow me to express my images more fluidly and completely, finding in paper the discipline that best suits my artistic expression. My style is defined as figurative expressionism.
My works center around the symbolic urban landscape, both indoors and outdoors, expressive representation of the human figure, collective imaginaries, and the concept of the monstrous. I have had the honor of being selected in the university art biennial of UAEMex and participating as a printer in the Bicentennial Portfolio.
My artistic work has been exhibited in various parts of the world, including Mexico, Cuba, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, and the United States. Throughout my career, I face constant challenges, such as adapting to new art paradigms and changing models of consumption and interaction with the artwork and viewers.
My goal as an artist goes beyond aesthetics; I seek to have the viewer initially experience aesthetic pleasure when contemplating my work, then initiate a dialogue and exchange of experiences that they can identify with in their own lives, aspiring, if possible, to provoke a transcendental reflection in the observer.
