My name is Judith Esparza Hidalgo. I was born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, México.
My formal training began more than 30 years ago while living in Mexico City Where I studied art with Esparza Leal. Ms. Leal was a well-known portrait painter who had painted many of the presidents of Mexico.
Read more...I moved to Tijuana in 1960. I trained under Chavez at the university o Baja California. I have also painted with Manuel Varrona and Hugo Covantes in several art workshops.
I love being an artist. From 1987 to the present, I have participated in fourteen individual shows and thirty group exhibitions.
